Yes. The lifespan of a red blood cell is around 120 days. Blood has various functions e.g., supplying oxygen, providing essential nutrients and protecting human body from diseases.

Blood transfusion is essential to the health care system of a society. With stable blood supply, it can help responding to emerging diseases, natural disasters and emergencies. Saving lives of people is the key.

Can the message motivate you to give blood regularly?
