It’s composed of three attractions i.e. Central Market, Tai Kwun and PMQ. They are all located at the heart of Central in Hong Kong.

The three attractions hold the same concept of revitalization due to their historical value. If you’re interested in heritage, arts and culture, you can’t miss it.

Central Market was a former wet market. Tai Kwun included the former Central Police Station, Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison. PMQ was the former Police Married Quarters.
How attractive are those buildings?
You’ll be impressed by Bauhaus style buildings at Central Market and mix of contemporary architecture at Tai Kwun.
Which one is your preferred choice of visit?
Central Market. It’s the latest landmark. You may also take the Mid-Levels escalator to another two attractions after visiting Central Market within a day.
What’s so special for Central Market in Hong Kong?
It was one of the oldest wet markets selling fresh fishes, poultry, vegetables and fruits. It was listed as a grade three historic building in Hong Kong.
When did this Central Market building start to operate?
The 80-year-old Market operated from 1939 till 2003. It was renovated and reopened with a new look in 2021.

With the evolution of the Market starting in 1842, it had gone through four generations. The building had witnessed changes in Central.
