Hey Winnie, how’s your holiday in Hong Kong?

It was fantastic. I’ve spent three days in Hong Kong and the schedule was overwhelming.

It should not be your first time travelling to Hong Kong. Right?

Yes. I’ve planned to explore more down-to-earth attractions this time.

Do you mean the local tour?

That’s correct. I’ve joined some local tours by immersing myself in the culture of Hong Kong.

What were the itineraries?

I’ve joined boat trip and visited typhoon shelter, temple and old estate. They brought me different tastes of Hong Kong. I enjoyed the scenic views, the peaceful atmosphere and the rich history. I’m so glad I had this opportunity!

During the second day, I’ve taken a half-day trip to Victoria Peak. Whenever I stay in Hong Kong, I’ll take the tram to experience a range of spectacular views. The view from the top of the Peak is magnificent.

I’m aware that it’s one of the hottest sights in the world.

The night view of Victoria Harbour is truly iconic. If you travel to Hong Kong next time, please be reminded to go to the 360-degree viewing platform at the Peak. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the city.

Sure. The irresistible night skyline cannot be missed.

In addition to the night view, I’ve visited the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at the Peak. I’m impressed by the realistic-looking wax figures.

Are they the celebrities?

Yes. There are many renowned faces featured at different zones such as music, fashion, art, champions and more.

I’ve viewed your posts on your social media platforms.

I’m so excited to interact with my idols closely. Can you recognize them?

Yes. They look so real. Your selfies are amazing!

I’m the fan of several celebrities. It’s so cool that I can get up close with the famous singers, actors and even historical heroes. It’s amazing how realistic and immersive it is. I feel like I’m living my dream every time.

Your post related to bungee jumping is so funny. Did you try bungee jumping?

Of course not. I’m afraid of free-falling. I definitely cannot overcome the fear. The photos are just the illusion of space.

How could you do that?

They are the three-dimensional scenes with different shooting themes at the Peak. By taking the pictures, I’ve also got to know more about the festivals, places and delicacies of Hong Kong.

Wow. You can take pictures with a collection of attractions at-one-go.

Absolutely. It can save my time because they’re the must-visit attractions in Hong Kong. Such three-dimensional and interactive gallery cannot be missed.

Your photo taken for the scrambling competition at the Cheung Chau Bun Festival was fascinating.

Really? I like the photo of Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance. It’s such an entertaining visual experience.

I cannot disagree with you.

I’ve also taken many selfies at the studio for the old days of Hong Kong at the Peak.

Why is it so special?

There are over 20 designed photo booths equipped with professional studio lightings. The themes include old theatres, trams and street cooked food stall. Have you heard of Dai Pai Dong in Hong Kong?

Dai Pai Dong? What’s it?

It’s famous for its competitive price with signature stir-fry dishes. The delicious food is cooked in a wok over a large flame.

Is it a hawker store?

Yes. Due to the hygiene concerns, there are fewer stalls as new license is not issued nowadays. It seems travelling through the light and illusion world when taking the photos.

It must be welcomed by tourists.

Definitely. I’m also a real foodie. I finally came to the real Dai Pai Dong in Central. The food is super tasty. It’s a must-try Hong Kong experience.

It’s an important part of local culture. I must try it next time.

Right. It’s an old Hong Kong flavour. During the last day, I’ve squeezed my time to go to the revitalized Temple Street. There are different roadside food stalls offering Hong Kong-style snacks such as fish balls, dim sum and snake soup. They are my favourite choices.

Hong Kong’s nightlife is amazing! I had so much fun exploring the city after dark. There’s always something new and exciting to see and do. I can’t wait to go back to Hong Kong and experience more of its vibrant culture.

You’ve experienced the incredible holiday. I’m so happy for you. I would love to join you on your next trip there. Let’s start planning together and make it happen!

Having you as the partner of travel will be great! We always have so much fun together, exploring new places and trying new things. I can’t wait to see what adventures await us!

Me as well. I’ll let you know my schedule.
